Tate Modern and Red 274

Coming soon
2016 is going to be quite a year for the Tate Modern site, the summer sees the opening of the extension and soon we've got a rather intriguing photographic exhibition.
Fountain - taking the P?

Last week I was reminded of the piece that's framed modern art and also the calm and thoughtful works of Mark Rothko.
Reflect with Rothko
Church- like

[Nice too to see Man Ray's iron]  But it's never just about the familiar - I liked this by Louise Nevelson too

More Ironing?

An American Tribute to the British People (1960-4)

And great to see something from Phyllida Barlow (who has exhibited at Tate Britain) - her upturned house here

Red 274

I suppose grey goes with anything here it's teemed with some red stripes

Let's go for a magic carpet ride
